Dink has to prove himself by finding a way through a huge maze.

Storyline: There is no story, except that Dink has to find his way through the maze and fight some monsters.

Map and graphics: No new graphics. The labyrinth consists of several parts; one is a real labyrinth, and the others are just plain open spaces.

Music: The music is good.

Good: A part of the labyrinth is made of fences and that part is done extremely well, since it is indeed huge. It must have taken some good design on paper and some good planning to make such a huge labyrinth. The stars on the floor are nicely done.

Not so good: The labyrinth with fences gets quickly boring; you are just wandering around, trying to find the exit and apart from some monsters you can fight, there is nothing else to do. Some subquests or some other things to do in between would have been nice. The open spaces are huge and far too big to keep it interesting. I could walk of the screen next to wizard back to the screen where the wizard is and had to hear his story over and over again before I found the exit.

Overall: This D-mod is really good in its kind: the labyrinth with fences impresses me.
Fit for: If you love a channelling, albeit sometimes boring, puzzle, then this is the D-mod to download.

The world could always use more heroes
Dink has to prove himself to a wizard to see that he can become a true hero, and so he has to complete a maze.

Definately an interesting idea. Kinda like a hamster in a maze but without any cheese to direct it. It must have taken lots of planning to make such a nicely done, big maze. Nice music and nice map. One bad thing that I noticed is that you can walk off the screen with the wizard and go back and listen to his boring speech again. If you do it on accident, just keep hitting the space bar then leave...otherwise, it's pretty good. No side stories or quests; It could have been better with them. Lots of monsters. No real plot, and almost no bugs.

Storyline and Plot: none except you have to go through the maze to become a true hero
MIDI's: Definately a plus in this game, lots of good MIDI's.
Lasting Appeal: It depends how good you are at mazes, but it's good for an hour or so.
Overall: A good demo with few bugs and lots of monsters. Lots to do but not very interesting, but good for a break from doing other stuff. Recommended to people who love mazes.

Dink is tested by a wizard to see if he has what it takes to be a true hero, so the wizard tells him to go through a maze.

strengths: brilliant music. and it has just the right amount of monsters to keep it like a proper Dink game.

weakness: too many open spaces and some of them are FAR TOO BIG. It also gets quite boring after a while so it really needs to be more adventurous.

overall: It is ok in its graphics and music, but i recommend that you only play this if you are REALLY bored.
