A mildly diverting dmod with not much of a plot. The new graphics were rather good, if a bit flat. On the downside, there was no real ending, I was disappointed that we never got to see or encounter Evil Santa, and I had trouble getting Dink through doors a couple of times. Also, there was little indication of where to go or who to talk to in order to find the next present.

Though there's too much christmas mood and annoying music in this dmod, it's still a fine piece of work. Especially the graphics are good, and with no weak points other than the ones mentioned above, Dink Smallwood's christmas is mostly an entertaining and short enough dmod to be played around christmas time.

It’s small, it’s Christmas themed, and it’s only mildly diverting.

The readme says it only took 2 days to make. Well not including graphics I’m guessing. That’s the best thing in here… the graphics. Snow the world and cold pillbugs and a cold bonca. The new Christmas graphics aren’t bad, just very 2D.

Music: Arrggghhh… it’s a Christmas jingle, but then what do you expect

Sounds: Didn’t think there was anything new here.

Map: Small, well decorated, a couple of hardness glitches around some trees

Gameplay: The big let down. It’s very basic. Dink has to find his presents, each new NPC tells him where a present is.

Didn’t seem to have any bugs, but I stopped playing after being told to find a snow/ice flower for present 3.

Overall: 6.5 out of 10. Not much to it despite all the new graphics.
