I'll give it a 7.0 too.
It was a well put together Demo, hopefully it correctly demonstrated the end result. However some things to improve on are.
Graphics: You should try to get diagonal movement working. There needs to be more variety of tiles, not just the same set over and over. Change the hand graphic to a pincer too.
Music: It was ok, just more variety maybe.
Plot: Needs work, hopefully it'll get more in depth.
Other than this it is a really neat demo.
