This editor is very simple to use, and can do such things as add conversations, add gold, add items etc, but it also does so things wrong on my system.
Adding a conversation used the @ symbol instead of “ which means the script wouldn’t run properly.
As a program its interface I thought was great and very easy to use without having to read a tutorial file as such, but this program doesn’t do nearly enough. It should have options for adding magic, creating a new sprite etc. Easy DinkC has more options and once you get used to using it EDC is ultimately the better editor for those authors who don’t like scripting in notepad.
Overall a promising start, but the @ bug and not having enough options let this program down.
