The Dink Network

contest #1:

dink smallwood costume contest

make a costume for your favorite dink character (headless duck, dink, lyna, milder, mog, martridge, pillpug, slayer, ethel, bonca, dragon, dead dragon carcass worshipper, dinks mom, the flower girl, a tree, etc) pretend we are having one of those dork conventions where everyone dresses up like a tart from some anime video game or something

snap some pics, email them to joshriot and we will upload all pics and name the winner

rules:

1. naked characters from simonk's sick, sick dmods are allowable however they wont be uploaded we are not going to get the dink network shut down over some 12 year old's hairless ass

2. the pictures must be of YOU in a costume, ie you cant take a picture of an actual duck or a pig and try to submit it, you must MAKE a costume that you wear yourself or it wont be uploaded

3. to the smartass who is thinking "heee heee ill just send in a picture of the actual seth in real life heheee heeee" nice try dumb ass, unless seth sends the picture in himself it doesnt count and will not be uploaded

prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places will receive 1 prize each

contest #2:

the 1 screen dmod contest

make a dmod as complicated or as simple as youd like. the only rule is you can only take up 1 screen and only 1 screen. you may use visions, spawn graphics to the screen, load in different tiles any trick youd like as long as you only use 1 screen.

the 1 screen can be a game it can be a cut scene of a duck exploding and fade to black and say "the end" it can be a boss that is really hard to fight it can be ANYTHING you want and involve any style of gameplay or characters that you wish

the dmods may NOT be submitted to dink network as a 1 screen dmod they must be emailed to joshriot or they will not count for the contest

i will then compile all the 1 screen dmods into a single map file and submit it as a single dmod with a list of all the seperate 1 screen dmods on the title screen

rules:

1. your dmod can take up 1 screen and ONLY one screen

2. if your scripts need to refer to the map number of your screen anywhere (would anyone even need to?) tell me what screen number you use and just pick some random number like 265 so that when i put it into the dmod of everyones different screen your scripts will still work

3. dont make a title screen because it wont be used, there will be only 1 title screen with buttons or something for all the different 1 screen dmods (if you want to make a custom bottom to click to play your dmod just use that to start your dmod on your title screen and i might use those)

prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places will receive 1 prize each

deadline: october 15

the prizes will be given in order, so the 1st places will get to pick first, then the 2nd, then the third get whatever is leftover
