Updated Utility: DinkC Editor v1.1
Posted by redink1 on Tuesday September 5th, at 10:41 PM
cypry took a sip o' tea and updated his DinkC Editor to v1.1. What, praying mantis, did he update? It now has a the standard black-text-on-white-background action you've all been craving for, among other enhancements.

Posted by redink1 on Tuesday September 5th, at 10:44 PM
Mr. Wolf9 has updated his superb Dressup Dan grumpy-doll-via-mspaint experience with more superbity. More colors! Pirate hats! Categories! Can you resist the temptation to download this file and play with King Daniel? Can you?

New Graphics: Night Tiles
Posted by redink1 on Tuesday September 5th, at 10:51 PM
Everyone's favorite giant bag of hot air, VonZeppelin, went night stalking and skewered some Night Tiles to share with the cult. These tiles are like normal tiles, except they are nightish. In fact, the tiles aren't just a bit darker, they also capture the purple tint of night.

New Dev File: Stackables
Posted by redink1 on Tuesday September 5th, at 11:00 PM
Sir rabidwolf9 stopped by Burger King to eat a couple BK Stackers (Quad, if you must know) and he was inspired with inspiration. And thus, there is now Stackables development file which contains sample scripts for stackable items in a D-Mod, such as Arrows, Axes, Bombs, and more.

Contest: Failure D-Mod - Status
Posted by redink1 on Friday September 15th, at 06:36 AM
The Failure D-Mod Contest deadline is quickly approaching (Monday!), and I was wondering how everyone was doing.

How many people will be entering their D-Mods? So far, I've received two entries.

Would anyone be interested in extending the deadline a week?

Edit (9/16 - 1:00 PM EDT): Due to general consensus, the deadline for the Failure D-Mod Contest has been extended one week, to September 25th.

Contest: Failure D-Mod Entries
Posted by redink1 on Tuesday September 26th, at 08:21 PM
I certainly failed to anticipate the number of entries for the Failure D-Mod Contest. Eight entries have been submitted, so make sure to download them and try your best to fail.

Eligible staff members will be contacted soon for instructions on how to judge the entries. In the event of a tie, I will decide the victor(s). If any of the D-Mods are updated from now on, staff members must only play first versions below.

And now, in alphabetical order...

Attack of the Evil Wizard by VonZeppelin. Dink must stop the Evil Wizard Ermadgrit from destroying the world.

Basilisk Smile (The) by SabreTrout. During a voyage across the ocean, the Dink's ship is raided by Goblin Corsairs. Fleeing in a lifeboat, he finds himself on a small, strangely quiet island...

Ex-Peppermint by sqwatermelon. Dink ends up in a messed up place for some reason unbeknownst to him. Consequently he wants to get out.

Fall of Tahmar (The) by Marpro. Meet strange enemies, visit new towns and venture into deep forests.

Honor Quest (The) by cypry. Dink spent the night with a girl, and finds that she's pregnant. You play the "honorable" Martridge, trying to find a husband for her, so our beloved hero won't be dishonored.

If Ducks Ruled the World by wesley. Dink gets sent on a crap quest up north and must settle an ambigious disturbance between two villages.

Prelude by joshriot. Apparently, a prelude to something.

Return to Rathor by carrie2004. Dink returns to the past to try and make 'nice' with the elves in an effort to prevent a future war.

Edit (9/26 10:20 PM EST): I somehow forgot about Marpro's entry, The Fall of Tahmar. I've added it to the list.
