New Unfinished D-Mod: Dink's World
Posted by Tal on Friday July 1st, at 12:34 AM
Legolas - the Dinker, not the marvelous Lord of the Rings character - has provided us with our first publicly-released unfinished D-Mod in a while, Dink's World. What's really funny, though, is that with my magical powers, I've seen it finished. The final product is actually a sight to behold, but alas, you poor folks shall never witness its greatness. Only me. Only me..

New D-Mod: An Age Of Darkness
Posted by Tal on Friday July 1st, at 02:19 PM
To open the month of July, I present to you dinkdragon's sophomore D-Mod effort, An Age Of Darkness. Interestingly, after an onslaught of D-Mods with "Dink" in the title, this is the first in a while to be without it. Supposedly it's because you play a slayer in the D-Mod, but I was hoping for something along the lines of playing some fierce guitar with the almighty group Slayer.

The Legend of the Staff Staff
Posted by Tal on Friday July 8th, at 04:29 PM
Careful observations made yesterday revealed that the one and only Striker has been bonked by the Staff Staff, pulling him into the fold of the Dink Network personnel.

Today, it shall be revealed that the good sir Merlin has also received a strike on the head with the Staff. Also, SimonK, who had already been enlisted under Junior Staff, has now been knocked on the head again and promoted to Senior Staff.

Edit: I am proud to reveal to my fellow Dinkers that the one and only trout with a sabre, SabreTrout, has been recruited into our small clique of evil and tyranny.

Updated D-Mod: An Age Of Darkness v2.0
Posted by Tal on Tuesday July 12th, at 10:18 PM
dinkdragon has updated his recently-released D-Mod An Age Of Darkness to version 2.0. He did not include a list of changes, but from my very limited experience with the update, he did make an attempt to handle the much-maligned "invisible walls."

Updated D-Mod: Helpin' the Ol' Duck Farmer v3.0
Posted by Tal on Sunday July 17th, at 04:34 PM
DaVince, a composer of D-Mods, has recomposed his romp Helpin' the Ol' Duck Farmer to version 3.0. Changes include a new character (probably redink1's mom or something), and quite a few minor adjustments and fixes.

New Dev File: Scriptus Generica
Posted by redink1 on Sunday July 17th, at 04:56 PM
The recently bonked SabreTrout has untethered a new development file for ye' land lubbers to enjoy: Scriptus Generica. It apparently consists of 4 general purpose DinkC scripts. If they aren't any use to you, SabreTrout assures me he'll swim across the Arctic Ocean.

Updated D-Mod: Cloud Castle 2 v0.98
Posted by redink1 on Sunday July 17th, at 05:05 PM
SabreTrout and Arik have released an update to their critically acclaimed Cloud Castle 2. This update, bringing the version up to v0.98, fixes 29 of the squiggly pillbugs.

Awards: June DOTM Results
Posted by redink1 on Sunday July 17th, at 05:17 PM
The results for the June 2005 Download of the Month have just now been passed to me in a golden envelope. And the winner is... none other than everyone's favorite parcel of lunar land, Lunacre, and his really long titled D-Mod Adventures of Dink Smallwood Part 1: The Town of Rakuna! Congratulations.
