The Dink Network

Awards: Even More MADNESS

Lots of voting has commenced, yet lots of voting shall ensue... let us discuss them, shall we?

The December 2004 DOTM voting has finished, and Ric takes the cake with the aptly-named Blender tutorial BlendTut. Since many Dinkers have become interested in using blenders lately (strange fad, I know), Ric has done us all an admirable favor by writing a Blender tutorial. Congrats to him, as well as the runners-up!

In addition to that, the nominations for the DOTY 2004 D-Mod and Development categories have ceased, and the results bring to light a great same-digit conspiracy. There were four-way ties in both, and while the Dev finalists still came out to the typical 5, there are a whopping 8 D-Mod finalists due to circumstance. Should you wish to vote in the Ultra Super Duper Spectacularly Splendid and Great Download of the Year 2004 finals, you may do so through the following links: D-Mod, Dev, and Misc. Will Cloud Castle 2 show Initiation its Conclusion, or will Initiation tear through Cloud Castle's very foundation? Or, better yet, will another D-Mod rise against them and topple them both? Will the mysteriously nothing-like None take top honors for the Miscellaneous category a second year in a row? Will someone explain to me why the Initiation Trailer is under Development? All these questions and more may be answered during the finals!

Finally, even in the face of something so great as the Download of the Year 2004 Finals, let us not forget that voting is also open for the January 2005 Download of the Month! Files up for the award include the Dink of Draconicness' Dink.ini Rewrite, the Source of a Pilgrim's Quest from a psy monk, rabidwolf9's not-quite-Ultimate-in-name Ultima Cheat, and the Dink of Hollandness' seemingly-completely-ultimate Ultimate Challenge.

Vote before March 8, or forever hold your peace!
