Besides, you don't have to scratch their bellies for hours in fear that if you stop, they start barking and waking the whole block up.

There you are SO wrong... Come meet our cat when he wants to be "brushed", and try to stop it before he is satisfied.. he might not bark, but he'll rip your arm off! Then in other hand, I'm seriously becoming to think that both of our cats have a serious brain injury...

But yes, we have both cat and dog, and cats are clearly wiser than dogs.. But dogs are more loyal and less selfish, and you can teach them tricks, and they like simple funs.. Cats don't (at least they won't admit it), and they already know the tricks. (our cat can open a locked door.. That's a real bother) Then of course, cats have such an EGO it rarely fits in one room, or even the whole house............
