Anyway, I respect that your faith puts a stopper on your search for nastiness, so I won't try to convince you to go looking or anything, but what you just said is kind of what I mean. You, even with having access, would probably not go looking for nasty stuff anymore, so you've made that choice, and probably one that your father would agree with. Though I don't think you would attribute your choice to his filters.
As for the small kids, it is very unlikely that they would come across the bad stuff in the first place, and to be perfectly honest, I'm going to sit around with my children when they are online until they become around 10-12 years old, after which I don't care what they come across, although I will inform them that they can come to me if they feel uncomfortable with something they come across. And I will tell them not to actively pursue something nasty, but you know, kids are kids, especially if I have boys, I'm pretty sure they won't avoid it, haha.
