It's been ten years since the game was released. I think the life of this game has been extended dramatically thanks to redink 1 who was committed to this website for so many years.

Laziness on the part of staff members or to be fair to them lack of time(seriously guys people have better things to do) has always been the case. But the number of D-mod makers has gone down, people no longer review D-mods with enthusiasm any more.

So IMO we need a new graphics engine and develop a Dink Smallwood 2 with that. That's the only way to revive the game. I know it's easier said than done and many people have tried and failed. But we can surely attempt to take up projects such as Windermere and try to complete it. Developing a game is a colossal amount of work and requires great programming knowledge and experience though....... I just have started to learn about programming one month back and hope to learn quite a lot in six months or so. I'll give it my best shot once I have enough knowledge. Easier said than done though........
