Ah, well, it's true it's not that smart to gamble your entire wealth in a game where the deciding factor is luck, but I enjoy playing poker with a bunch of friends, for small amounts of money or drinks or whatever else that doesn't turn the game DEAD SERIOUS.
I don't like many of the variants of the game though, or the WPT tournaments where the people play with imaginary money for a fixed pot. Tried internet poker once, but it was definitely not for me, with all the fun things in poker missing- The whole atmosphere of a live game and the social aspect of playing it with friends, not even mentioning the unfunniness of trying to bluff without seeing the other players.
Still, I don't dislike the game itself or all it's variants, indian poker is particularly awesome.
