If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I think it's only in the expansion seeing how you have to fuse the keys in act 5 and you can't fight baal until the expansion. I've have the keysets plenty of times and traded them for hrs 
Btw I leveled my assassin and druid to 85 and started a sorc (level 53.) I also just realized that 4 really good runewords (spirit, infinity, insight, fortitude) only work in ladder and since it threw me into nonladder since the ladder reset, I'm stuck with that.
Thank god it let me keep my spirit shields I had though!
