Whether you try or not, you have to admit that that's basically what happens. Either you make an unnecessary remark or someone picks on you, and the unpleasantry rolls forward at an alarming rate from there.
You may not necessarily break any of the written rules for the board, but you succeed at being a gigantic nuisance, and I think just about everyone here, save IceDomina, Ducklord, and maybe some other non-vocal Dinkers, agrees.
I promise you that it would be in everyone's best interest, especially yours, to drop this discussion completely and let the thread return to its previous intent/peacefulness, if that can even be attained again.
