: What is the alrternative to "changing the palette really easily", not changing at all or with a little difficulty? 'Cause it's not something most people will need, so I don't think it matters if it takes a little work, but if you couldn't do it at all that's a significant tradeoff.

It would involve deleting a file, every time you wanted to change the palette.... I'll try it out, and see what the speed increase is like
