If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
When I didn't have dink.dat, map.dat and hard.dat in the transfer dmod directory before trying to transfer a save file I would get stuck in one screen when I tried to play it. (It should copy them when you install but I got some error so it didn't)
It sounds like a similar problem, so you could try the following. Make sure you still got a copy of your save file in the Dink\ directory though.
1. Delete transfer dmod.
2. Reinstall it.
3. Copy "dink.dat", "hard.dat", "map.dat" and a save file from the dink\ directory to the transfer\ directory manually.
Then do things by the book... run the transfer dmod, and continue your saved game. If Dink says something about going to see King Daniel, it's propably going to work.
