Well, the odds weren't anything to do with it. I was surprised because that sort of thing is rare in Parakai. It is so rare that the term "it happens" isn't very relevant to Parakai. In Parakai we hardly ever get well known people from NZ going through let alone overseas famous people. The last time was our Prime Minister came to Parakai Primary School three years ago. That's a long time between. And my Parakai standards that is a unusually short time between. That's where the surprise comes in. Rare things occuring interest me. And it was interest/curiosity that I felt more than surprise, so in fact you're actually commenting about the thing I felt less of.
