: : It doesn't even protect your graphics very much, 'cause those who are really interested will have "un-dir.ff" programs (check Phoenix' site, http://www.snowcrystal.tk/. Ehh.. There isn't actually an un-dir.ff program there yet, but still, read the "Current projects" section).

: I'm not doing it to protect them, but to make it a smaller file. Now it's cool, since they're only a couple of them, so .bmp is good, but what if you would have many?

I'm not certain, but it may be because you used a black background. I think there may be some problem with that, try a white background. (If your sprite is partly white, you may be out of luck)
