If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
Go to the Development section in the Downloads... (see the menu on the left) Download 'rudiments of scripting' and perhaps EasyDinkC and any other tutorials that tickle your fancy. Read them. If you have any questions search the boards for similar threads... if none are to be found post the question. But first and foremost... READ the tutorials... there's lots of them. And some are really good.
EDIT: Oh, and I prefer WinDinkEdit to DinkEdit... but read around and experiment before you stick to anything.
