If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I seem to be the only one who doesn't think a ffextract file is a good idea.
If you release a DMOD with new graphics you can compres them to dir.ff. If you do so you make it very clear that you don't want them used by other authors, or atleast that they need to ask before using them. So there's no point in extracting if you can just ask the author for the graphics.
About the same applies for a .d -> .c converter.
