I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to.I guess.
: I've made the decision of re-writing the board so it is heavily intergrated into the next web design, due sometime in December (maybe).  It'll be faster and such, and I'll (hopefully) be able to convert the current board over to the new one, so no messages would be lost.

: So... I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the following changes:

: * Remove the ICQ/AIM/YIM/MSN icons underneath a user's icon.  They'll simply be moved to each individual user profile.

: * A better quoting system, for use when replying to a message.  It'll display their name and such, and more.

: * Slight tweaks to the different views (Threaded, Non-Threaded), and new view choices, and new options.

: * Message Board Moderation by Staff.

: But... I'm not sure how I can make a fair moderation system.  My main idea is to have at least 2 Staff agree to tag a message 'off-topic' or something.  By default, you wouldn't be able to see any off-topic posts (or replies to them), but you can if you choose to.

: Also, if you have any other board changes, post a reply.

What about a sort of, um, I don't know, having messages sorta marked for moderation if lets say more than 5 different non-staff people say so, and put it in a hidden state if more than 25 people mark it for moderation? You'd have to put limits on it, maybe no more than 1 mod per day per person, and that you have to use your username and psword. Yes, it might be flawed or hard to program, but what about for Miasma 2? (sp?)
