I of course love Modest mouse, the pixies, old green day (none of their new stuff), warren zevon is one of my big influences. I also love Cake. and my cousin's band, the Madhats, is a good progressive timeshifting band (themadhats.com is up, download "Big Pete" if you ever have time). Rolling Stones, the Who, Ben folds, the cure, tom petty, sweatband (a local band), etc. So mostly I'm into indie, classic rock, and alternative. I don't like pop or rap, and I like some hard rock/metal. Occasionally I'll listen to some trip-hop, but never hip-hop. Although I don't listen to it at all, I love to play blues and gospel on guitar.
