Those letters are quite logical if you have quite some knowledge of physics... But if you don't know these letters this kinda looks nonsens.
Most of those letters are like abbreviations. So they're quite logical. Most of the time they have a meaning.
Like:
F is Force
m is mass
a is acceleration
So you have the formula F = m*a
It simply means force = mass * acceleration.
But if you look at cypry's formula it would become way to long to write in that fashion.
