Aww, man, are there still loads of bugs? Good thing I've left 2 version numbers 'til 1.0. Best I get on them sooner rather than later.
The TOA was accessible via bombable rock at some point in development, but that was just a placeholder location and we changed it. It was definitely there in the first beta we sent out, but I can't remember if we'd finished the scroll in the last beta - it would certainly explain a lot if we hadn't.
O.K, spoilers etc.
Here are the scroll piece locations in more detail so you can definitely tell me if there are problems :- the girl you rescue from the cannibals should give you the scroll if you talk to her at her hut, to the west of the cave you rescue her from. The missing daughter subquest is in the oasis area - in one of the houses is a woman who asks you to find her missing daughter, who is found in the caves to the south of the oasis. The quest has mulitple outcomes, depending on how you handle it, but they should all result in an ancient scroll for Dink. The second item in Anbar's subquest is in the oasis area, in a house with an angry mother and a kid in the corner. You get the box from the mum, and you can either deliver it safely to Anbar or you can (pointlessly) open it, report your failure and then buy the scroll from the shady guy in the basement.
