Okay, well I don't know if this will help but I go into 'my documents' folder(or any folder)and I click 'view' and then 'folder options'. Then I choose 'file types' and I scroll down to where 'midi sequence' is listed.I click it and then edit.There should be two choices of 'open' and 'play'.Click one and check where it's link is going.It has a browse so you can search and find you windows media player.Is that helpful?
