ok well ill try that but not if i can figure out another way cause of the possible side-effects. that was all pretty much right btw like exact wording but i think it was actually in different orders. you could have just said unclick the box that enables third party browser extensions in the internet explorer options that might have been easier.
midis open with mplayer2 like just in windows explorer or whatever the hell its called. just with IE it tries to play inside the browser with either quicktime or wmp.
also before i went into quicktime settings and unassociated all file types or something and now it tries to play certain things with normal windows media player INSIDE the browser. its really weird and stupid.
