I haven't seen any of the movies...
...but since my physics class discussion are more often on Star Wars or The Matrix than the real thing, it's not too hard to contribute to this topic
How did you feel about the obvious, irritating flaw in the movie? Talking about where Luke&Leia's mother is told to die of giving birth to them... in one of the later episodes, I hear(
), Luke asks Leia what she remembers about her mother, and she actually has some memories about her (e.g. that she was often sad or something). Lucas doesn't appear to remember what he put in his story..
Also there was some talk about cutting off a scene that somehow explains that empathy is the thing that allows Siths to 'return' (as the conversation steered off the normal terminology, I wasn't quite getting it any more), and this was vital information considering that Vader could 'return'. This found originally from some interview or something.
(I Hate it when all nerd tests give you half of the points on the grounds of how much you know about Star Wars... I always score too low.)
