I don't know what you all are talking about but there are indeed licensing and legal issues to be dealt with when using MP3.
And sirakn, you crack me up. That $1 does not buy you rights to the song. It buys you the privilege to listen to it. For one person. Not everybody on the DN.
And dinkholland, Kazaa Lite ++ Sucks. Kazaa sucks in general. Use lame and run 'lame --decode input.mp3 output.wav'. Works like a charm.
