Yep it's totally free. It is a Google approach to email. It is currently a beta only. And there is just one way to get an account right now, which is to get an invite from an existing member. Each member gets 6 invites (I still have all of mine.) And even though it is just a beta it is the best email service for the following reasons:
- 1GB of email space.
- Unlimited attachment size
- Loads quicker than any other email service.
- You can archive emails you want to keep instead of creating a new folder for them or using the inbox folder.
- It has a search feature that uses Google Search so that you can find any particular email.
Note: It has Goolge text adds related to your email, but they are easy to ignore and sometimes unnoticable because of where they are positioned.
