I wasn't being completely serious with my "loose women" comment, although it does sound like I'm 13 or 70 (I'm 17, of course, and I haven't called a girl slutty in years.) I was oversimplifying for the sake of humor... unfortunately it wasn't funny.
On the other hand, Kat, denying the existence of the double standard doesn't make it go away. Believe me, it does me no favors, and I try not to perpetuate it, but highschool students of both genders seem to try mighty hard to keep it alive.
Tal: were you talking to me or to VD... I assume the latter (since I've been here longer than four months in one sense and shorter in another), but I don't think either of us acted like we knew the forum particularly well (at least not in this thread).
Actually, I was kind of an ass... sorry, I wasn't trying to be. My point was that from what I've seen (elsewhere) this forum (lately) has been vituperative to noobs. I left out the parts in parentheses, I guess.

My point is that (from what I've seen) WC has the right approach, and semi-trolls like Kory are a neccesary evil. Kory doesn't try to anger people (again, from what I've seen) so he's not exactly a troll. But whatever.
