Christianity seems absurd to me, but I hate it when people feel the need to bash anyone's beliefs or convert anyone. Isn't that one of the key reasons many of us are dissatisfied with Christianity anyway? (No offense to those who believe, but many members of your faith "spread the word" by asinine methods.)
Though I would prefer for my current female partner to be an atheist, she is not, but understands why I feel the way I do. Though I wouldn't object to a slow and steady conversion for her, the current situation suffices for me.
