While my example was your idea taken to a sarcastic extreme, I still think your idea for a training D-Mod is superfluous.
It seems like you want to take out any possibility of a player to think for themselves. I mean, they'll figure out that a red potion is a strength potion when they touch it and Dink says "I feel stronger!" or whatever. And likewise, they'll figure out that a sword that costs more gold is better.
Dink is not that complicated of a game.
