That depends alot on where they fought. The home-court advantage as it were. Think about it, Sonic's best attack (IIRC) is rolling into a ball and zooming along really fast. That's great in a side scroller where you can't dodge, but it would somewhat lacking in a flat world like Dink's
: Dink vs. Banjo-Kazooie
Don't know much about them.
: Dink vs. Guybrush Threepwood
Insult swordfighting might beat normal swordfighting, but how would he handle Hellfire.

Uhh, if I'm thinking of the right game that guy doesn't even have a weapon.

Hmm, the home court thing might come into play again, buy I'd have to say Dink would win in any case since he has life points whereas Mario can be taken out in a couple hits.

How about @ from Nethack. He/she would stand a pretty good chance with all that magic loot and such.
Or how about Lara Croft, I expect she could defeat Dink. Either just with guns or if necessary by seducing him and striking when she had him in a disadvantageous position, though she does seem to burst into flames from the slightest spark so one lucky fireball and it would be all over.
Duke Nukem again, having guns would have a pretty good chance, though come top think of it, Dink and he might get along very well. They seem to have similar personalies.
