If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
Somehow you got into "debug" mode. Alt+D toggles it on and off. ( sometimes you have to try a couple times to get it to turn off). Sorry about the talking bug, I never could repeat it on my system. (Those charecters aren't needed to play through.)
