If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
Basically, either the patch was installed incorrectly, or the game needs to be reinstalled. You'll get a dialog box that pops up when it can't find any of the tile screens, and while this may mean that the temporal vortexes of fate and cheese have suddenly deleted one of the tile bmps from your computer, the much more likely culprit is you're trying to run the exe file in the wrong place, like if the patch didn't go into an existing Dink directory.
