For one thing, you're reading my post wrong. I was talking about bemoaning something that can't be changed. It's a done deal. Everybody has had their say about war/no war but it happened.
The alternative is unthinkable.
To wish that the usa lost and saddam won is wishing for uncountable casualties, brutal torture, and unspeakable actions against our soldiers that would have been captured.
Politics one way or the other were not my intended meaning. So have fun with your "dumb rant". Regardless of your 'what might have beens', there will be one result from the war and that is this: The Islamic radicals that brought about 9/11 will not be so fast to brand the usa as cowards and weaklings. Hopefully, this will give them pause before another 3000 or so innocents are murdered.
PS. I don't think your rant is a rant nor dumb. Debate is good but I don't want to discuss politics right now. Normally I enjoy discussing things with you.
