When you begin to impose punishments like carring a picture or haveing to pay the family or something, that would mean someone who has extra space in their wallet and a few extra bucks could go on a killing spree and then just pay people off...

Also I dont know about other places but here the judicial system is a peice of steaming crap, someone doesnt mirandize(or however you spell it) the person right even a murderer can get off scott free...speaking of scott, the whole patterson case baffles even my great mind, I am in no way defending him but he is getting a raw deal, your supposed to get a trial by jury and that jury is supposed to be unbiased, well with the "freedom of the press", you would have to go to europe or maybe even the moon to find a unbiased jury.

Now I luv thriller but micheal jackson is wierd ill admit it...but no matter if he is convicted or not he would never have to do time, cause he is a star and stars are invincible to the courts

Haveing never left the usa (unless you count international waters)I dont know how things work in other countries but i have bad feelings about how the US is going these days
