I don't think so either, although I've only played the King's Quest series. I need to play QfG some fine day, the weird battle system (well, weird to have in a text parser / point and click game) seems interesting.

I'm sure there are some homages in some dmods, but nothing like a big tribute or a dmod really modeled after those games.
