@Herbie:
Not necessarily a bug... use the anti-venom kit? Is thinking loudly that there is something that he should do here... and when I finally space out those messages and use the kit (another 4 messages to space out) Dink is almost dead...I just want to be able to continue the fight without being disturbed!...Even if I use a kerchief and dropping all the gold Dink is still constantly losing health no matter if you change the area or not. ...Even according to Bear Grylls surviving on a desert isn't THAT hard. Or rather annoying.

#1 Request to not have to worry about picking up food during a fight.
Well, to me, this was just a challenge that made the game more interesting. I always thought that there are times when Dink might need to pick up food during a fight to stay alive and times when he is better off avoiding it. Perhaps I can make it an [E]scape menu option to toggle on or off picking up food while monsters are on screen in future games.

#2 Request to not take a long time[4 messages to space out] to use the anti-venom kit. I decided that using the anti-venom kit should not be a quick process because in real life, it would not be a quick process. Depending on the type of poison involved, it is actually pretty dangerous to try fumbling with one of these kits when you need it. Trust me, I know. Anyway, I thought that this would (again) make the game a bit more challenging. I'll think a bit about whether I should change this though.

#3 Request to reduce the danger-to-health level of crossing the desert.
Did you dampen the kerchief? Did you only cross the desert in the evening?

So, now there are three possible changes I may put into the next release of the "Before..." dmod. Like I say, I'll think about implementing these. Perhaps I'll put all these together on one single [E]scape menu option to toggle on or off these more challenging aspects of the game all at once, so you can play in easy or hard mode. Thanks for your suggestions.
