Skurn, you appear to be posting in the wrong thread, as this is a discussion about abstaining from the consumption of nuts. Admittedly, I have seen some hardcore religious types arguing against it, citing verses from Leviticus about how eating fruit is OK but not nuts, but I don't see any reason to bring them into this when it's clear everyone else is discussing the prospect of a nut free diet without religious condemnation.
As an aside, did you know that many culinary nuts aren't botanical nuts? This might cause some problems as to what counts as a nut for the purposes of NNN, so we should nail down our definitions before proceeding.
