I disagree.
Love has many paths.
Love toward your family and friends, hobbies, beliefs, your wife , nature, food, and life.

I agree with this. Things, people that you love ( and what you would do/wouldn't do for it/them ) pretty much determines you as a person.

Love is different for everyone, so your loves are you. Your hates are also you, but you gotta learn to love the hate, otherwise love would be pointless. But If you learn how to love hate while also loving love, then you will love everything, and then again, your love becomes pointless that way, which means that you've become pointless, which means you would probably try to end your pointless existence (after you realize that). But at least, you will jump/stab/hang yourself with a true smile of love and serenity on your face. Either that, or you have serious drug problem.
BUT, drugs only amplify the effect of what you already have in you, so why wasting time practicing meditation and your physical skills on a far away mountain peak, in a wooden cottage, surrounded only with men in funny pijamas, who think almost exactly like you, when you can get immediate effect times 1000???

Considering that drugs are not an answer, I'd try just respecting the hate, and loving the love. Also try to reason why you hate your hates, and love your loves, and be honest with yourself. When you're honest with yourself, you won't have a problem with looking yourself in the mirror while being naked. This is extra useful, cause most bathrooms have at least one mirror in them, and you'll have get past naked if you want to take a shower and clean those private parts of yours (that you love). And if you have to shut your eyes every time you pass that mirror, it gets pretty frustrating. Plus, you can slip on a soap and die by snapping your neck on the bathtub.

As for what is love... uhm...
