LOOK UPON MY DEFORMED FACE!
It's apparent that the people here are definitely not the target audience for DinkHD. In fact it's difficult to determine who is, as this new generation of "casuals" aren't going to enjoy it much, and the people who originally bought it in '98 or got it freeware don't like it much either.

>Or he could just give us the original models, ideas and stuff, and allow us to finish it

First off, Seth didn't make any of the graphics. That was left up to the artist, Justin Martin who was initially a 50% stakeholder in Dink who has chosen not to release the 3DS Max models or Photoshop files, and doesn't care at all about DModders. See this thread for details.

I very much doubt he would willingly release any of the 3D models without a rather hefty payment (if at all) meaning that unless we all coughed up some dough, our only alternative would be to recreate all of the models and render them ourselves which was sort of what Windemere was about.

I will also state that although Seth is primarily a businessman, he has been very active under the name "MrFun" on many Ludum Dare competitions and does enjoy making free games as part of a competition meaning he's not a money-grabbing wanker like Skorny seems to have concluded from my other post.
