I reckon someday soon the U.S government is going to lead the rest of the world in trying to abolish all religion.
Nah, our government's too much of a bunch of pussies. If anyone religious complains that something's infringing on their beliefs, it becomes a national issue.

HUGE DUCKING PROBLEM. So I do agree with Punisher that religion needs to go if we are to achieve world peace. But there has to be a less holocausty way to do it that won't cause more damage.
