Science is the study of the natural world. Without even a basic understanding of science, your perspective becomes limited. We exist in a vast space, so vast that we can barely percieve it. Within it are countless galaxies, each hosting countless solar systems, which in turn hosts various planets. We are as dust in the grand galactic scale, and every day, something could kill us. Each and every one of our atoms was created in the center of many suns, and when they went supernova, those atoms traveled the universe and came together to form every single person. It makes one feel so small when everything comes into perspective, yet it feels nice to be part of something so large and tangible.
Even with death, that which makes up our bodies is broken down and remade into new things, the energy that remains is taken in through decomposers and moved into the soil to be eaten. It's simply amazing, really.
