I've never tasted cat meat, but I would try it if I had the chance - and I don't mean cooking up a roadkill, but if I saw it on a menu in China, for example. For regular consumption, probably not. I don't really want "organized cat collecters" operating anywhere near my pets.

The cat's stomach and intestines may be eaten, as well as meat from the thighs, which are turned into meatballs served with soup

Cat thigh meatballs.

cat meat is a main ingredient in the traditional dish "dragon, tiger, phoenix" (snake, cat, chicken), which is said to fortify the body.

Phoenix or chicken? Same thing, really. Yeeeeaaah.
