WinDinkEdit+2 certainly seems like it's the most advanced available editor. For certain people however, it seems to have some rather serious bugs. WinDinkEdit+ seems much more reliable than WinDinkEdit+2. At the same time it's more advanced than DinkEdit or WinDinkEdit. So with that in mind, WDE+ is probably the best editor available.
I'd suggest trying WDE+2 for a while and if you come across major reoccurring problems, downgrade to WDE+.
