It doesn't make it right in your view. The hallmark of human society is free will to do that which you desire, it is the decision of each person do decide what is right and wrong, and regardless of what other people say, some will have completely reversed moralities, or even moralities that seem strange to me and you. Take, for instance, Muslim communities versus American communities. By tradition in Muslim communities, women are seen as inferior and must hide all but their eyes. In typical American communities, women are seen as independent and can wear whatever they want. To some, one way is right and the other wrong. To others, the inverse is correct.
