Hello everyone. You may remember a long while ago I got rather angry at a particular user for making excess threads about things that nobody cares about.
Subsequently I wrote a userscript that would allow you to filter out a user, making their posts and threads invisible. I offered it to the other board users here, and it received a mixed reception.
However, a big problem was that some people couldn't figure out how to use it even though they very much wanted to. I have concocted a new tard-proof version, completely rewritten using JQuery that now has an interface for easy use. It hopefully does the same thing as the old one.
If you visit this site on a daily basis, and you're tired of trawling through thread titles such as "Who else hates colds?" and "POOPY SAUCE" then I have the product for you!
Go here and install the script by clicking on it. (I can't link to it directly because of the word filter.)
Note that you will require Greasemonkey in Firefox for it to work. It might work in Chrome, but I don't know since I don't use Chrome. After installation, you'll see a box down the bottom. Note that it's case-sensitive at this stage so if it doesn't appear to work then retype the usernames as they appear and try again.
Also, by default it uses Google's hosted JQuery library. If you don't like Google then I suggest you either host your own jQuery library or ask me to, and edit the script.
If there's enough interest then I will update it with new features and even fix some of the bugs!
