Also, you can perform other genetic tests than on a live baby, including on the aborted fetus. It would actually help catch the culprit faster, considering you'd have genetic evidence within a reasonable amount of time of the rape...
I'm not going to say much on the subject of murder, but if that's your opinion, I would suspect you to be a PETA supporter, because fetuses are not always people (otherwise eggs and sperm must be people, or at least half people, which makes having sex genocide.)
