Well, there will always be negative aspects of the world, from both an environmental standpoint and a humanity standpoint. I mean, look at hurricanes and space collisions. Both are natural, but to an individual it could mean the end of your life. So it's not only people.

Sometimes it is not easy to find, but there is good in both people and the environment. It is just easier to focus on the negative things because they are all around us, trying hard to make themselves noticed and to steal all attention. The good things are often more subtle, easier to miss, and even overlooked. Like a good friend, a beautiful sunset, a wonderful piece of music, a new DMOD. A person who believes that there is nothing to be happy about, is probably not looking hard enough. Or maybe they just won't let themselves enjoy anything.

I will admit though, it's easy to lose faith in people when those who surround you let you down time after time. Just don't forget amongst the chaos that there are still those who care, and it's a lot easier to keep hope. I've certainly found myself let down by people...but I'm still convinced that the good in people is stronger than the bad in people; the bad only has a louder voice.

At any rate, I hope the best for all your "real lives."
